Dr Lucy Polak graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1994, finished the Internal Medicine Internship at Methodist Hospital, Dallas, Texas, and the Family Medicine Residency Program at Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, June, 1998, Board Certified in Family Medicine. Her undergraduate degree is from Smith College, Northampton, Mass., BA in Comparative Literature (German/Spanish), magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, 1980. Dr Polak taught middle school, high school and adult students in Dallas, Japan, Egypt, at Catholic and public schools, before entering medical school. Dr Polak has practiced with this group since 1998. She is bilingual (English/Spanish). She enjoys offering comprehensive medical care in a compassionate environment. Outside of the medical office, she enjoys spending time with her 13 year old son.
